Nail Tek Review - week 5

Quinta settimana: ecco l'ennesimo set di foto comparative! Ho utilizzato i colori per evidenziare i progressi:

• arancio: situazione migliorata ma non risolta
• verde: situazione risolta

Ho deciso di continuare ad utilizzare lo smalto come base, ma di effettuare la foto su base mensile invece che settimanale. Le unghie hanno bisogno di ricrescere e temo occorra un pò di tempo.

I decided to go on to using the nail polish as a base, but to make the photos on a monthly basis instead of weekly. The nails need to grow and I'm afraid we need a bit of time.

Nail Tek Review - week 4

Quarta settimana... forse finalmente iniziano a vedersi dei risultati apprezzabili, anche se le unghie più danneggiate (indice e medio) ancora presentano una fastidiosa tendenza a sfaldarsi.

Fourth week ... perhaps finally I begin to see appreciable results, even if  the most damaged nails (index and middle) still have an annoying tendency to peel off.

Ho deciso di continuare il trattamento usando Nail Tek come base, d'ora in avanti.
Continuerò ad effettuare il confronto fotografico settimanalmente, fintanto che i difetti non scompaiono del tutto.
Al momento su 10 unghie ne ho 4 di cui non sono del tutto soddisfatta, ma mi rendo conto che è necessario attendere la ricrescita per tirare le somme.

I decided to go on with the treatment using Nail Tek as a base, from now on.
I will continue to make the comparison photo weekly, as long as the issues do not disappear completely.
At the moment on 10 nails I have 4 of which  I am not entirely satisfied, but I know that it is necessary to wait for regrowth to draw conclusions.

Dopo il confronto, ho voluto provare il duo di cui sotto: olio cuticole più la nuova lima lucidante della Kiko, la Glossing Buffer. E' quella che vendono in abbinamento agli smalti 'effetto specchio'.

After comparison, I decided to try the duo listed below: cuticle oil and the new Glossing Buffer by Kiko. It is the one they sell in combination with nail polish 'mirror effect'.

Devo dire che questa lima funziona davvero bene! Ne ho provate diverse finora, ma il risultato che ho ottenuto con questa supera le aspettative.

I must say that this file works really well! I've tried several so far, but the results I got with this is better than  expected.

  

Dopo questo trattamento l'aspetto è davvero  migliorato... vediamo come vanno le cose tra un'altra settimana!

Buon Lunedì!
Dopo aver pazientato un'altra settimana, eccomi pronta ad una nuova comparazione (la precedente è qui).
Ho applicato giornalmente lo smalto curativo Nail Tek e alla fine ho rimosso il tutto... purtroppo la domenica ho fatto lavori intensi di giardinaggio e potatura che non hanno giovato alla salute delle mie unghie... vediamo comunque le foto.

After another week of no-colored-polish nails, I am ready for a new comparison (the previous one is here).
I applied Nail Tek daily and last day I removed the whole ... Unfortunately on Sunday I did intensive work of gardening and pruning who have not benefited the health of my nails ... anyway, let's see photos.

Considerazioni: la situazione è oggettivamente migliorata, ma forse mi aspettavo di meglio. Certamente non hanno aiutato i lavori di giardinaggio che ho fatto, ma ho deciso comunque di continuare ad usare questo smalto come base e verificare settimanalmente i risultati (anche alla luce della ricrescita).

Considerations: the situation is objectively improved, but maybe I expected better. It certainly did not help the gardening work I've done, so I still decided to continue to use this nail polish as a base coat and check the weekly results (even evaluating the regrowth).

Nail Tek Review - week 1

 Dopo aver letto la recensione di Pallino Girl a proposito dello smalto ristrutturante Nail Tek, ho deciso di provarlo. Tralascio l'epopea che ho dovuto fare per reperirlo, ma alla fine ce l'ho fatta!

 Visto che la cura prevede 7 giorni senza smalti colorati, ho deciso di affrontare questo supremo sacrificio in modo scientifico, ovvero facendo una reviw fotografica.

After reading the review of Pallino Girl about restructuring nail polish Nail Tek, I decided to try it. I omit the complications that I had to find it, but finally I did it!

Assuming that the treatment consists in 7 days without any colored nail polish, I decided to tackle this supreme sacrifice with a scientific approach: making a photographic review.

Due considerazioni:

1. so che esiste anche una versione senza formaldeide, ma non l'ho trovata.Spero che questa sia buona comunque!
2. le istruzioni spiegano che si può procedere anche sovrapponendo una base colorata, ma essndo le mie unghie particolarmente stressate, ho preferito procedere senza interferenze di sorta usando quindi solo il prodotto curativo.

 Here's the product I used.
Two considerations:

1. I know there is also a version without formaldehyde, but I have not found it. Hope this one will work fine anyway!
2. The instructions tell you that you can also proceed by using it with a colored nail polish, but since my nails are particularly stressed, I decided to proceed without interference of any kind.

Ho proseguito per tutta la settimana dando una passata ulteriore ogni sera (due passate i giorni in cui sono stata in piscina).

I continued throughout the week giving a further coat every evening (two coats in the days when I was back from the swimming pool).
After a week I removed the nail polish and I was ready for the comparison
