Flakie polishes consist out of a jelly base with very fine opal (often duochrome) particles in it. They're mostly used for layering as the jelly base is often sheer.

E' possibile che io sia uscita leggermente fuori tema perchè questo smalto, mescolati ai flakies opalescenti ha anche una sottilissima foglia d'oro e d'argento che lo rende unico nel suo genere (almeno credo!). Il suo nome è Gilt-y Pleasure del brand indie Wingdust.

 I am sharing with you today the magnificent Gilt-y Pleasure by Wingdust. It is a top coat with 23 karat gold leaf, silver leaf, and purple iridescent flakes.

 

Adoro questo finish, ma trovo che gli smalti con flakies si dividano in due grandi categorie: flakies sui toni caldi e flakies sui toni freddi. E purtroppo trovo che ci siano davvero innumerevoli dupe! Così ho voluto provare a presentarvi qualcosa di diverso, spero che possiate amare questo smalto anche solo la metà di quanto ne sono innamorata io.

I love this finish SO much but I found that flakies nail polishes are more or less all dupes so I decided to share with you something really different! I hope you like it!

In genere non indosso mai gli smalti da soli, ma questo fa eccezione... non sono riuscita a pensare ad una nail art che potesse rendergli giustizia così l'ho semplicemente steso su una base nera e ho lasciato che si stagliasse in tutta la sua bellezza.

I am not used to wear a nail polish without trying to implement a nail art with it but in this case I just put this top coat on a black base. Isn't it gorgeous?

La nail art di oggi era da moltissimo tempo nella mia lista delle manicure da cui trarre ispirazione: è della bravissima autrice del blog Let Them Have Polish e si tratta di un gradient molto particolare impreziosito da glitter dorati.
This nail art was from a long time in my list of manicures for inspiration.
It is made by  the talented blogger from Let Them Have Polish and is a very special gradient embellished with golden glitter.

Per quanto riguarda anulare e mignolo, ho voluto sfoggiare il mio amatissimo indie con foglia d'oro; nonostante la base sia un blu scuro invece di un nero trovo il contrasto gradevole.

Il mio unico cruccio è stato quello di non avere gli stickers adatti per creare l'effetto mezzaluna: mi sono arrangiata con quello che passava il convento e purtroppo le linee sono risultate un po' irregolari.

Regarding ring and little fingers, I wanted to show off my beloved indie with gold leaf; even though the base is a dark blue instead of black I find it a pleasing contrast.
My only regret was not to have stickers suitable to create the half moon effect, so unfortunately the lines were a bit 'irregular.

The most beautiful nail polish in the world: Steel Town Girl from Wingdust

 Vi presento lo smalto che si è aggiunto da pochissimo alla mia collezione!
La nostra storia d'amore a distanza è stata lunga e tormentata... sì perché i Wing Dust sono smalti indie a tiratura limitata e spessissimo sono esauriti. Il bellissimo Steel Town Girl era già sold out quando l'ho aggiunto la prima volta alla mia lista dei desideri ed ho dovuto attendere molto prima che fosse di nuovo in vendita!

Let me introduce to you the nail polish that has been added very recently to my collection! 
Our love story from a distance has been long and tormented ... yes because the Wing Dust are indie glazes in limited edition and so they are often sold out. The beautiful Steel Town Girl was already sold out when I added it the first time to my wish list and I had to wait long before it was on sale again!

Dopo svariate peripezie (tra cui un acquisito sventurato in UK... non ci volevo credere ma è VERO: gli smalti non si possono ricevere dal Regno Unito) alla fine il mio sogno d'amore si è coronato.

After several vicissitudes in the end my dream of love is crowned.

 E quindi eccolo qui!
Si tratta di uno smalto unico nel suo genere. La base di partenza è un blu olografico lineare arricchito da flake blu, azzurri ed olografici. La ciliegina sulla torta comunque è la foglia d'oro a 23 carati.
La durata è buona, la coprenza media (si raccomanda la mutanda in tono) e la rimozione senza problemi di sorta.

And so here it is!
It is a nail polish unique. The starting point is a deep blue linear holo base enriched by blue, holo and iridescent flakes. The icing on the cake is the 23 karat gold leaf.
The duration is good, medium coverage (we recommend the 'pant' in tone) and removal without any problems whatsoever.
