Buongiorno a tutti! Niente pesci d'aprile oggi... vi parlo piuttosto di una stamping plate mandatami da Born Pretty Store. Come mio solito prima di recensirla l'ho provata a fondo.
Hello! Today I am glad to share my impressions about a stamping plate sent to me by Born Pretty Store. As usual I tried it for months before this post!

Come potete vedere si tratta di motivi grandi e molto grandi e questo per me è un punto a favore perchè detesto trovarmi con il disegno che non riesce a coprire interamente l'unghia.
La qualità per quanto mi riguarda è ottima. Quelle che vedete sotto sono solo alcune nail art: penso di aver provato il 90% dei motivi e in tutti i casi sono rimasta soddisfatta della resa. Visto che anche il costo è competitivo e le spese di spedizione sono gratuite non posso che consigliarvi questa plate!

As you can see the patterns are large and I appreciate this a lot because I hate to have a nail not completely covered by a too small design.
The quality is indeed very good. The nail art that you can find below are just an extract... I tried nearly all the designs and they all worked well. So, since they are also not expansive at all, I can tell you that I completely recommend them.

[Enjoy Autumn] Episode 7: Plaid

Alzi la mano chi non tiene una copertina tattica sul divano, pronta da tirare fuori in quelle seratine fredde, per starsene accoccolati guardando un bel film... ed è proprio a loro, alle nostre coperte di Linus che è dedicato questo episodio!
Hands up who does not have a tactic plaid near the couch, ready to be used on those cold evenings, to sit crouched watching a good movie ... and it is to them, to the plaid the ones to whom is dedicated this episode!

 In questo caso ho voluto giocare facile, anche perchè avevo una stamping plate perfetta per l'occasione (BPS 96)! Lo smalto utilizzato come base è Flormar Matte Silver Jade (anche se è più viola che argento,secondo me).
I had a perfect stamping plate for this occasion (BPS 96) and I stamped the pattern on Flormar Matte Silver Jade. It's called 'silver' but it's more Violet in my opinionm what do you think?

Holothon 2015 Episode 13: Moyra Holographic 251 Sirius

Buon venerdì  bentornate alla Holothon!
Finally the weekend is arrived! And friday means  Holothon!

Dopo aver visto quanto valido era il Moyra 253 con lo stamping, ho iniziato a guardare con altri occhi l'altro smalto della collezione che posseggo. E di lì a provarlo sul campo il passo è stato breve!
After seeing how good was Moyra 253 with stamping, I started to look with new eyes the other nail polish from the same collection I have. And I wanted to try it out immediately!

Detto fatto, eccovi qui il Moyra Holographic 251 Sirius che da bella mostra delle sue capacità su base nera. Che ne dite, promosso?

Sooner said than done, here you can see Moyra Holographic 251 Sirius that shows its capability on a black base. Do you think it is good enough?

 E visto che di arcobaleni non se ne ha mai abbastanza, andiamo subito a vedere le proposte delle mie amiche di smalto!

Come avete trascorso la Pasqua? E la Pasquetta? Io mi sono presa un attimo di pausa e di relax, infatti recupero oggi dopo essermi presa il lunedì di pausa.... ogni tanto ci vuole, no?
Ma bando alle ciance, sono qui per recensire la seconda plate che mi ha mandato Born Pretty Store.

How did you spend Easter? And the Easter Monday? I have taken a moment of pause and relax, in fact I am writing today after Monday's break .... sometimes it is necessary, isn'it?
But no more talk, I'm here to review the second plate that Born Pretty Store sent me .

 Mi sento un pò una mosca bianca perchè vedo che le mie colleghe riescono a pubblicare almeno una recensione alla settimana (o più!) e io invece impiego mesi per fare le mie prove e raccogliere il materiale necessario a scrivere una recensione... che vi devo dire? Vogliatemi bene lo stesso!
I feel a bit like a black swan because I see that my colleagues are able to publish a review at least weekly (or more!) instead I I need months to do my tests and collect the material necessary to review what ... what can i say? Please love me anyway!

Ho sperimentato la plate in più occasioni, quelli che vi mostro qui sono i due abbinamenti che mi sono piaciuti di più, ma in tutti i casi il disegno si è trasferito in modo nitido e senza buchi.
I experimented the plate on several occasions, the ones that I show here are the two combinations that I liked more, but in all cases the design has been transferred clearly and without holes.

Unico accorgimento diverso dall'esperimento precedente è stato quello di usare una tessera morbida al posto dello scraper metallico, che tende a graffiare la plate.
Only precaution different from the previous experiment was to use a soft plastic card in place of the metal scraper, which tends to scratch the plate.

Quello che mi ha stupito di più (e il motivo per cui ho voluto fare diverse prove) è il pattern che ho stampato sull'indice. Sappiamo tutte che i pattern di questo tipo sono molto difficili da trasferire senza buchi e invece... non ci sono mai stati incidenti di sorta.
What amazed me the most (and the reason why I wanted to do several tests) is the pattern that I printed on the index. We all know that the pattern of this type are very difficult to transfer without holes but ... there have never been issues.

Il mio parere finale è: promossa. Ma anche a pieni voti... queste plate non solo sono ottime, ma hanno anche una superficie ampia (per unghie larghe e /o lunghe) e un prezzo più che ragionevole.
My final opinion is: success. But even with full marks ... these plates are not only good, but they also have a large area (for wide and / or long nails) and a more than reasonable price.

E questo è quanto... spero che il mio parere vi possa risultare utile!

I received also another plate, but I'm still testing it and I will talk about it in another post.

Confesso che inizialmente mi sentivo un pò sotto pressione: ho ricevuto questi oggetti circa un mese e mezzo fa ed ancora non ero pronta per fare un post. Il fatto è che -prima di farmi un'idea precisa- ho avuto bisogno di sperimentare un pò. Ecco quindi le mie considerazioni.
Nail Art Stamper & Scraper
Ho usato questo set per ogni stamping ricereato a partire da dicembre. Il mio set abituale è quello di Konad e mi ci sono trovata sempre bene.
Per quanto riguarda lo Scraper, nulla da dire, è praticamente identico a quello della Konad ed ha lo stesso difetto: graffia le plate. Ad onor del vero non ho ancora trovato uno scraper che non abbia questo problema, temo quindi che sia inevitabile.
Lo stamper invece è ottimo: non solo è molto grande ma il fatto che sia rettangolare mi aiuta molto in caso di pattern geometrici per posizionarli con il giusto orientamento sulle unghie. E' leggermente più rigido di quello della Konad, ma non mi ha mai dato problemi: promosso!
Nail Art Stamp Template
Non avrei pensato di poter trovare una stamping plate a questo prezzo con una qualità ottima. Mi sbagliavo. E' davvero prefetta ed il disegno è bellissimo. Amo il fatto che si estenda per tutta la superficie, perchè consente di ricreare nail art sempre diverse. Promossa a pieni voti!

I confess that at first I felt a little under pressure: I received these objects about a month and a half ago and I still was not ready to make a post. The fact is that -before get a precise idea - I needed to experiment a little. But now I'm ready to share my comments.
Nail Art Stamper & Scraper
I used this set for each stamping created starting from December. My usual set is Konad and I think it is a very good one.
Regarding the Scraper, nothing to say, is virtually identical to that of Konad one and unfortunately  has the same defect: it scratches the plates. To be fair I have not found a scraper that does not have this problem, so I am afraid that it is inevitable. Apart from this detail it works fine!
The stamper instead is great: not only very large but the fact that it is rectangular helps me a lot in case of geometric patterns to move them with the right orientation on the nails. Is slightly more rigid than the Konad one, but I've never had problems: test passed!
Nail Art Stamp Template
I would not have thought you could find a stamping plate at this price with good quality. I was wrong. It 'really prefect and the design is beautiful. I love the fact that it extends to the entire surface, because it allows you to create nail art always different. Top marks!

Lo smalto che vi presento oggi ha un magnifico rapporto qualità prezzo. Proviene infatti dallo store on line Born Pretty dove l'ho acquistato per un prezzo ragionevole (sui 3 euro) circa un anno fa.

The polish I am presenting you today has a wonderful value for money. It comes in fact from Born Pretty online store where I bought it for a reasonable price (about 3 €) about a year ago.

Non è uno smalto dagli incredibili effetti speciali, ma bisogna riconoscere che fa bene il suo mestiere.
Mi è venuta voglia di giocare con i toni dell'arancio e ho tirato giù dalla mensola il mio versatile Kiko 359 (lo tra un pò bisognerà che lo ricompri, il livello sta scendendo paurosamente!).

It is not a nail polish with amazing special effects, but we must recognize that does his job well.
I had the wish to play with the tones of orange and I pulled down from the shelf my versatile Kiko 359.

A questo punto mi sono armata di dotter e.... ecco qua!

[The Rainbow Ladies 2.0] #10 Indigo

Ed eccoci nuovamente alla fine della settimana!
Festeggiamolo degnamente con un tocco di colore insieme alle Rainbow Ladies 2.0 che ne dite?
Il colore di oggi non è semplicissimo, ma una volta tanto penso di averlo azzeccato!
Parliamo infatti dell'indaco, quella magnifica sfumatura che risiede esattamente tra il blu ed il viola.

And here we are again at the end of the week!
I propose to celebrate worthily with a touch of color, together with the Rainbow Ladies 2.0; do you agree?
The today color is not easy, but for once I think I got it right!
We talk about indigo, that magnificent shade that lies exactly between the blue and the purple.

Ho voluto ispirarmi a questa semplice ma graziosa nail art della bravissima Alice di 'One Nail To Rule Them All'... mi sono ridotta all'ultimo secondo e avevo bisogno di qualcosa di semplice, efficace, ma portabile anche in un  giorno di lavoro!
Ed ecco il risultato, vi gusta?

Il post che vi ho linkato è completo di tutorial, quindi non sto a dilungarmi sulla realizzazione: vi dico solo che è molto più semplice di quanto non possa sembrare, anche se ci vuole un pò di pazienza.

The linked tutorial is very clear, so I will not dwell on the realization: I only say that it is much simpler than it may seem, even if it is necessary a little of patience.
