A Year With Nail Art #3 - August

Non ci crederete ma per la nail art di oggi ho usato SOLO smalti senza scomodare i colori acrilici! L'evento è talmente degno di nota che vado ad elencarli:

• Peggy Sage Blanche
• Peggy Sage Jasmine
• Pupa 800

La mia versione non è esattamente all'altezza dell'originale soprattutto per quanto riguarda le palme sul pollice, che mi si sono un pò pasticciate. Ho dovuto inoltre abolire i glitter sull'anulare perchè.... non posseggo nessuno smalto glitterato color oro! Eh lo so.... imperdonabile da parte mia, ma detesto i glitter (soprattutto al momento della rimozione) così gli smalti di questo tipo in mio possesso si contano davvero sulla punta delle dita. Che ne dite, va bene lo stesso?

You will not believe it, but for this nail art I used ONLY nail polishes without disturbing acrylic colors! The event is so remarkable that I am going to list them:

• Peggy Sage Blanche
• Peggy Sage Jasmine
• Pupa 800

My version is not exactly so good as the original, especially talking about the palms on my thumb, I have a bit messed up. I had to also abolish glitters on the ring finger because .... I do not have any nail polish with golden glitter ! Oh I know .... indefensible on my part, but I hate glitters (especially at the moment of removal) so you can really count on your fingers the nail polishes of this type that I own. I hope it's fine anyway!

Ed ecco la proposta di oggi... io mi sono innamorata di questo pattern non appena l'ho visto.
Debbo ammettere però che la realizzazione è stata un pò più complessa del previsto.
You can see below the today pattern. I felt in love with it immediately... but I must admit that the realization has been more complex than expected.

Smalti / Nail Polishes:

• Opi my Vampire is Buff
• Pupa 800
• Acrylic colors 

Ho scelto una base panna che secondo me ingentilisce molto il risultato. Poi ho fatto tanti pallini ad intervalli regolari ed infine ho sovrapposto le roselline dipingendole con sfumature di acrilico rosa.

I chose a cream color base that I think very refines the result. Then I made many dots at regular intervals and finally I put the roses painting them with acrylic shades of pink.

Che ne dite? Vi piace il risultato?

Forse qualcuno si aspettava dei toni un pò più natalizi, ma non sono proprio in grado di entrare in mood natalizio prima dell' otto-nove dicembre... quindi condivido questa nail art dai toni invernali ma tutt'altro che natalizi.

Red and Grey

La settimana scorsa mi sono trovata a dover improvvisare una nail art in circa mezz'ora. Ovviamente avevo bisogno di qualcosa di semplice, ma che non deludesse le aspettative... non so se capita anche a voi che la gente prima di salutarvi vi chieda di vedere le unghie, ma son scene di vita vera per quanto mi riguarda!
Così mi sono rivolta ai cari, semplici, veloci pallini. Base rossa e pallini grigi, neri e holo. Ed Ecco fatto!

Last week I found myself having to improvise a nail art in about half an hour. Of course I needed something simple, but also able to do not disappoint the expectations ... I do not know if it happens to you that people ask to see your nails before to say hello, but they are scenes of real life for me!

So I turned to my dear, easy, quick dots. Red base and gray, blacks, silver dots. And that's it!

[EuRoPe] episode 6 - Portugal

Il nostro viaggio fa oggi tappa in Portogallo!
Dopo aver fatto la furba con lo scorso episodio stavolta ho voluto essere più che in tema ed ho voluto ispirarmi al celebre vino natio di questa terra: Il Porto.

Today we visit Purtogal!

Last time I had to find a work around, but this time I'm completely aligned with the nation we are visiting. My nail art is inspired by the most famous wine from there: Porto.

La realizzazione è molto semplice: acrilico su base dorata (Pupa 800). Non è esattamente una nail art portabile, ma mi sono divertita a replicare il logo del porto più conosciuto e diffuso... Anche se ammetto di aver decorato solo la mano sinistra stavolta!

Realization is really easy to be described because it is just acrylic painting on golden base (Pupa 800). I tried to replicate the label of one of the most famous Porto wine!

A voi piace il Porto? Io non sono una grande estimatrice dei vini dolci, ma debbo dire che questo fa eccezione.

Do you like Porto? Usually I don't like sweet wines a lot but this one is somehow different and I love it!

Ad essere onesti mi sono presa diverse libertà: holo invece di glitter, dot invece di brillantino e linee a mano libera (e si vede, sigh... ma non avevo gli stickers adatti!) invece di usare una sagoma adesiva.

I know that my design is quite different from the original design (I used holo instead of glitters, for example) but I hope that you like it anymore!

Chevron and waterfall on light purple shades

Questa nail art era nel cassetto da più di un mese... è una cosina semplice, ma mi è piaciuto l'abbinamento dei colori.

Very quick post to wish you a good week! 
This nail art was in the drawer for more than a month ... it's a simple little thing, but I liked the combination of colors.

Did you know that this is the penultimate round with our Holothon 2.0? I hope to close with a bang next week: I have a couple of parcels that are expected to arrive, and I hope that at least one of them comes in time! 
In the meantime, here's another little Catrice.

La nail art che vi propongo l'ho realizzata davvero di corsa, ma in fin dei conti mi è piaciuta parecchio. si basa sul contrasto tra due toni di azzurro e, se ve lo state chiedendo, lo smalto più scuro è il nostro amato Pupa Denim Blue.

The nail art that I propose has been really made on ​​the run, but in the end I liked it a lot. It is based on the contrast between the two shades of blue, and if you're wondering, the nail polish is darker than our beloved Pupa Denim Blue.

 Il tema è prettamente floreale, anche se i colori che ho scelto sono un pò insoliti per un pattern di questo tipo.Vi piace?

[HOLOTHON 2.0] episode 11 - Pupa Denim Blue

Un nuovo venerdì, un nuovo episodio della nostra Holothon 2.0!
Sono felice oggi di presentarvi un nuovo arrivato nella mia collezione. Cosa dite? Vi ricorda qualcosa? Ebbene sì, è tutto merito di Holly: nel suo post di venerdì scorso ne ha parlato talmente bene ( e ha segnalato anche la promozione in corso - tra l'altro) che alla fine l'ho comprato!

A new Friday, a new episode of our Holothon 2.0! 
I am happy today to introduce a newcomer in my collection. What do you think? Does it remind you anything? Yes, it's all about Holly: in her post last Friday spoke so well (and it also announced the promotion going on) that I finally bought it!

E' uno smalto davvero stupendo, uno dei pochi holo indossabilssimo senza base con due sole passate.
It is a fantastic holo nail polish, very pigmented: it is fine with only two layers without any base.

Se mi conoscete un minimo saprete che ovviamente ci ho fatto sopra una nail art... ma oggi sono molto di corsa e non sono riuscita sistemare le foto. Vi dò appuntamento a domenica  lunedì (scusate, mi sa che non ce la faccio prima) per mostrarvi la nail art!
