Dopo aver riaperto le danze la settimana scorsa, ecco un altro pattern fiorito: stavolta la scelta è caduta su un motivo delicato ed elegante. Questi fiori nude tono su tono si prestano benissimo ad una manicure da ufficio, voi che ne dite?
You know that I love them... here we have another flowered pattern: this time the choice fell on a delicate and elegant motif. These tone-on-tone nude flowers are perfect for an "appropiate for work" manicure, don't you agree?

I fiori sono stati realizzati con la tecnica dello stamping su base nude (My Vampire Is Buff e Do you take Lei Away? by OPI) .Vi lascio qualche altra foto sotto:

Tribute Nail Art Challenge Episode 1

Buon lunedì!
Con questo post sono lieta di dare inizio ad una twinsie studiata insieme alla mia amica Aly: ogni primo lunedì del mese dedicheremo un tributo alla creazione di una nail artist che ci ha colpito con la sua bravura ed originalità.
La twinsie - guarda tu il caso- si chiama appunto “Tribute” e ci vedrà affiancate nell’intento di emulare ogni mese una nail art diversa... aggiungendo un tocco personale, inevitabilmente!

With this post I am pleased to introduce a twinsie planned with my friend  Aly: every first Monday of the month we will dedicate a tribute to the creation of a nail artist who impressed us with her skill and originality.
The twinsie - strangely enough - is called "Tribute" and it will see us side by side trying to emulate a different nail art each month ... always adding a personal touch, of course!

Per la prima puntata abbiamo scelto una vecchia opera della bravissima Lex del blog Storm And Stars con le sue chevron su gradiente nei toni del tramonto (la trovate anche su IG).
Ecco la mia versione!
Come vedete ho usato una tecnica un pò diversa da quella della nail art originale: ho creato prima il gradient e poi  ho applicato i chevron con uno stamping furbo. E' più forte di me: cerco sempre delle scorciatoie! Spero che la mia versione vi piaccia comunque ecco qualche altra foto:

For the first episode we chose an old work by the very talented nail artist Lex from the blog Storm And Stars: chevrons on a gradient in the shades of sunset (you can find her also on IG).
Here is my tribute version!
As you can see I used a technique a bit different from the original nail art: I created the gradient and I used it as base for a stamping with chevrons pattern. It's stronger than me: I'm always looking for shortcuts! I hope you like my version anyway, you can find below are some other photos:

Pattern Wednesday episode 200

Benvenuti alla 200esima puntata del Pattern Wednesday!
Ci pensate che sono quasi 4 anni che andiamo avanti al ritmo di un pattern la settimana?
Per quanto io sia testarda e perseverante non credo che avrei mai raggiunto questo traguardo da sola... ci tengo quindi a ringraziare tutte le ragazze che in questi anni hanno partecipato insieme a me a questa piccola sfida. Grazie di cuore ragazze!

Welcome to the Pattern Wednesday's 200th episode!
Can you believe that it is almost 4 years that we keep going at the rhythm of a pattern each week?
For sure I am very  stubborn and persevering  but I don't think I would have reached this goal alone ... so I would like to thank all the nail polish-friends who have taken part in this little challenge with me during these years .

Un ringraziamento molto speciale va però alle mie attuali compagne di avventura: ho chiesto a ciascuna di scegliere e riprodurre un pattern per festeggiare insieme a me questo traguardo. Andiamo subito a curiosare tra questi piccoli capolavori!

A very special thanks, however, goes to my actual my partners in crime: to celebrate this goal I asked them to choose and reproduce a pattern to their liking . Let's go immediately to browse among these little masterpieces!

• Ecco a voi il bellissimo pattern fiorito di Diana, che potete trovare anche su IG con il profilo lacajitadediana. La nostra amica è colombiana e le sue nail art trasudano colori e fantasia. Vi consiglio di seguirla su IG per ammirare anche le sue proposte per il make up, super colorate e fantasiose!
• Here is the beautiful flowery pattern of Diana, which you can also find on IG with the profile lacajitadediana. Our friend is from Colombia and her nail art exude colors and creativity. I suggest you follow her on IG also to admire her make up proposals too, super colorful and visionary!

• La seconda partecipante è la mia cara smaltoamica di vecchia data Alice. La trovate sia sul blog che su IG e debbo dire che con la proposta di oggi ha veramente superato se stessa!
  La scelta di ispirarsi ad un servizio di piatti mi ha colpita (e ora VOGLIO quei piatti, ma questa è un'altra storia....) davvero piacevolmente. Bravissima Ali!
• The second participant is my dear long-time nail polish friend Alice. You can find her on the blog and on IG and I must say that with today's proposal she had really surpassed herself!
  The choice to be inspired by a set of dishes really impressed me (and now I NEED those plates, but this is another story ....). Very well done Aly!

• La terza partecipante, Claudia, ha iniziato solo da qualche mese l’avventura con questa twinsie, ma ci ha conquistate fin dalla prima nail art con la sua bravura. In questo caso ha scelto di cimentarsi con lo stamping (di solito predilige gli acrilici, che padroneggia con invidiabile maestria) dimostrandoci che anche in questo caso la precisione è una dote preziosa per la resa finale della nail art!
• The third friend, Claudia, has started the adventure with this twinsie recently, but she has won us immwdiately with her talent. In this case she chose to try her hand at stamping (she usually uses acrylics with enviable mastery) proving that even in this case precision is a precious gift for the final rendering of the nail art!
  

Ed infine, ecco la mia nail art! Per una volta ho cercato di evitare motivi floreali e ho provato a cimentarmi con questo pattern geometrico. Spero che vi piaccia! 

And finally, here is my nail art! For once I tried to avoid floral patterns and I tried my hand with this geometric pattern. I hope you like it!

Ecco un nuovo pattern astratto scelto dalla mia cara smaltoamica Alice, che oggi torna con noi! Bentornata mia cara!
This beautiful pattern has been chosen by my dearest nail-polish friend Alice: welcome back dear!

Per realizzarlo ho usato tecniche miste: su una base bianca ho stampato le linee verdi (la plate è la Mo You Pro 01), per poi dipingere i cerchi ed i dettagli aggiuntivi con i colori acrilici. Ecco qualche foto aggiuntiva:

The nail art has been realized with mixed technique: the stripes has been stamped from a plate (Mo You Pro 01) and than I painted the additional details with acrylic colours. You can find additional pics below:

Gente, qui bisogna farsene una ragione: le feste sono finite. Bisogna guardare avanti e rassegnarsi all'ineluttabile: il prossimo giorni festivo è il lunedì di Pasqua. Come consolarci? Ma sfoggiando i bellissimi smalti ricevuti in dono naturalmente! Con stamping annesso, ovvio!
It's time we resigned ourselves to the ineluctable: the holidays are over. We must look ahead and bravely accept it: the next holiday is on Easter Monday. How could we be less miserable? For example wearing the amazing nail polishes received as a gift! With stamping, of course!

Gente ci siamo quasi. Il grande conto alla rovescia per il Natale è iniziato... voi come siete messi? Siate belli paciosi ad impacchettare i regali o siete tra quelli che vagheranno con l'occhio pallato tra i centri commerciali questo fine settimana?
Il pattern di oggi si ispira un pò alla carta da regalo ed un pò al freddo che imperversa in  questi giorni, mi pare appropriato, che ne dite?
We are almost there. The big countdown for Christmas has begun ... what can you tell me about you? Are you peacefully packing the presents or are you among those who will desperately wander in the malls this weekend?
Today's pattern is inspired both by the gift paper and the freezing cold that rages in these days. It seems appropriate, isn't it?

 Il tutto è realizzato con colori acrilici su base bianca, più stamping con smalto dorato. Ecco qualche altra foto:

Il pattern di oggi lo ha notato proprio la mia smalto amica Alice che anche oggi partecipa a questa twinsie. Trattasi di pizzo su sfondo rosa antico... una scelta molto raffinata!
Today's pattern has been noticed by my enamel friend Alice, who is also today part of this twinsie. It is lace on an old rose background ... a very sophisticated choice!

Purtroppo lo stamping stavolta mi ha fatto disperare... e il passaggio del top coat ha impasticciato tutto a tal punto che ho dovuto ritoccare un pò le foto per renderle presentabili. Avrei voluto rifare il tutto, ma il tempo era tiranno, aimè!
La base è Sizzling Sienna del brand Nella, mentre la plate è la Bridal 07 di MoYou.
Unfortunately the stamping this time made me despair ... and the passage of the top coat has messed up everything so much that I had to retouch the photos to make them presentable because I did'n have enough time to do the nail art again.

Visto che questo tecnicamente è l'ultimo PW estivo, voglio celebrarlo con un pattern dai colori neon dall'aria un pò anni 70. Ho usato come base il Fluo Nail Lacquer 602 di Wycon ed il risultato è stato al di sopra delle aspettative in termini di brillantezza!
Technically this is the last PW of this summer: I want to celebrate it with a super bright neon-colored 70s pattern. I used Wycon Fluo Nail Lacquer 602 as the basis and the result was above expectations in terms of of brilliance!

Ho poi aggiunto i dettagli con il colore acrilico. Il risultato mi è piaciuto ma....
I then added the others details with acrylic colours. I liked the result but...

... non ho resistito alla tentazione di arricchirlo con uno stamping! Quale versione preferite?
... I couldn't resist to the temptation to enrich it with a stamping! Which version do you like more?

Era da un pò di tempo che avevo voglia di sperimentare un pò con le stamping plate e questo pattern mi ha dato l'occasione perfetta. Questo è uno dei motivi per cui amo prendere spunto dai pattern: mi consente di utilizzare colori e accostamenti a cui non avrei mai pensato!
It's been a while that I wanted to experiment a bit with the stamping plate and this pattern gave me the perfect opportunity. This is one of the reasons why I like to take inspiration from the patterns that I find all around the web: it allows me to try colors and combinations I would never have thought about!

Lo stamping è stato realizzato usando due sfumature diverse di colore (fuxia e bianco) su una base blu. Vi lascio qualche altra foto sotto!
It has been realized using two different shades (violet and white) of stamping polish on a blue base. You can find some additional pics below!
