Je Suis Charlie.

Gente, questo è un post completamente fuori tema, ma sento il bisogno di unirmi al coro, tramite l'unico mio canale 'pubblico'. In genere preferisco mantenere la cronaca fuori da questo mio blog, che considero uno spazio leggero e frivolo, in senso buono. Ma stavolta è diverso, mi sento colpita in prima persona e sento l'esigenza di dire: Je Suis Charlie.

This post is completely off topic, but I feel the need to join the chorus, through my only 'public' channel . Normally I prefer to keep the real life out of this blog, which I consider a simple and frivolous place. But this time is different, I feel personally affected and feel the urgency to say: Je Suis Charlie.

Pattern Wednesday episode 27

Finite le vacanze si torna ad una versione meno natalizia dei nostri Pattern, anche se abbiamo voluto comunque mantenere i colori che ricordano le feste appena trascorse.
After the holidays we go back to a not Christmas related version of our pattern, even if we still wanted to keep the colors that recall the holidays just gone.

Si parte infatti con una bella base rossa (Essence kiss on top of the rock) per poi disegnare tanti quadratini verdi chiari e scuri con gli acrilici. L'ultimo tocco è la linea tratteggiata bianca, anch'essa effettuata con i colori acrilici.Ho dipinto tutto a mano libera, ma tutto sommato sono rimasta contenta del risultato anche se i quadratini non sono regolarissimi.

We start with a red base (Essence kiss on top of the rock) and then we go to painting on it small squares, in two shades of green. The final touch is a dotted white line, made with acrylics too.
I painted everything freehand, but overall I was happy with the result even if the squares are not very regular.

 

E voi cosa ne pensate di questo genere di fantasia? Avete mai provato a riprodurla? E infine...non dimenticate di visitare il blog delle mie amiche, non siete curiose? Io sì!

Eh lo so.... siamo quasi a befana. Ho disertato un pò il blog, ma una piccola pausa ci voleva proprio. L'altro motivo è che sto continuando a fare esperimenti con il Water Marble e non tutti sono presentabili. Ma non demordo!

Oh I know .... we are almost at the Epiphany. I deserted the blog a bit, but I needed just a little break. The other reason is that I am continuing to experiment with the Water Marble and not all the results are presentable. But I do not give up!

Oggi invece vi presento un cavallo di battaglia : un bel gradient che fa da sfondo ad uno stamping.

SO far from perfection: my first decent Water Marble attempt

Buonasera gente!
Fino all'ultimo sono rimasta indecisa sul condividere o meno queste foto... ma alla fine voglio che il mio blog documenti la mia avventura nel mondo delle nail art e non sia solo una vetrina dove mettere in bella mostra solo gli esperimenti riusciti.
E parlando di nail art questa è a dir poco una pietra miliare!
La WM per me è sempre stata una bestia nera... l'ho temuta e amata a lungo e finalmente i questi giorni sto facendo qualche timido tentativo.

Until the last moment I was undecided on whether or not to share these pics ... but in the end I want that my blog documents my adventure in the world of nail art and I don't want that it became just a showcase that displays only successful experiments.
And speaking of nail art this is a milestone!
The WM for me has always been a black beast ... I feared it and I loved it for a long and finally these days I'm doing some feeble attempt.
