Questo pattern mi è piaciuto dal primo momento in cui l'ho visto, ma mi ero lasciata un pò intimidire dalla difficoltà di esecuzione... poi quando Claudia ha proposto il medesimo motivo ho capito che il momento era giunto!
I liked this pattern from the first moment I found it, but I was a bit intimidated by the difficulty of execution ... but then also Claudia proposed it so I realized that its moment had come!

Tribute Nail Art Challenge Episode 5

Buon lunedì e buon Ottobre!
Pronte per la quinta puntata della nostra Tribute Nail Art Challenge? Per questo mese gioco da solista: Aly ha dovuto prendersi una breve pausa, ma sono certa che sta già spulciando il web a caccia di ispirazioni per il suo rientro.
Per questa puntata ho giocato sul sicuro con la nail art della talentuosa e giovanissima Alice, di One Nail To Rule Them All... la conoscete tutte, vero?

Ready for a new episode of the Tribute Nail Art Challenge? For this month I am alone: Aly had to take a short break, but I'm sure she's already searching through the web looking for inspiration for her return.
For this episode I choosed the nail art of the very talented and very young Alice, from One Nail To Rule Them All. I follow her blog from the very beginning and I love her style, so basic and lovely.

Alice -che è davvero bravissima-  ha realizzato il tutto con gli smalti. Io ammetto di non essere stata altrettanto talentuosa e ho dipinto i fiori con i cari vecchi colori acrilici, su una base nude di OPI, Don't Pretzel My Buttons. Vi lascio qualche altra foto sotto!
Alice - who is really very talented - made it all with the nail polishes. I am not as talented as her and I painted the flowers with my beloved acrylic colors, on a nude base by OPI, Do not Pretzel My Buttons. You can find additional photos below!

Oggi abbiamo a che fare un pattern geometrico e molto stiloso, nero metallizzato con un tocco di rosa.
Today we try to recreate a geometric and very stylish pattern in metallic black with just a touch of pink.

Gli smalti che ho utilizzato sono Sweet As Faby (di Faby) e 4 In The Morning by OPI
Sono rimasta indecisa fino all'ultimo momento se mantenere una versione più basilare...
I started applying Sweet As Faby (by Faby) and 4 In The Morning by OPI creating the lines using striping tape.bI was unsure until the last moment whether to keep a more basic version ...

... o se aggiungere un tocco di sbrilluccicanza con una mano generosa di Ozotic 905 Beam. A voi quale versione piace di più?

Topolin, topolin, viva topolin! ... non so come mai ma questa canzone mi fa sempre pensare al bellissimo e terribile film “Full Metal Jacket” piuttosto che al topo saccente più famoso di Topolinia (ok lo ammetto... Topolino non mi è mai stato simpaticissimo) però quando Claudia ha proposto questo pattern mi è subito venuta voglia di fare pace con questo personaggio, almeno il tempo necessario a dipingerlo in punta di dita. Che dite, durerà?...
Mickey Mouse! Mickey Mouse! ... this song makes me think about “Full Metal Jacket” instead of the little mouse created by Walt Disney: I have to admit that I don’t like Mickey Mouse a lot but this time , when Claudia proposed this cute pattern I decided that I was ready for a short truce with him. Well... at least just the time to paint his silhouette on my nails!

Dopo aver riaperto le danze la settimana scorsa, ecco un altro pattern fiorito: stavolta la scelta è caduta su un motivo delicato ed elegante. Questi fiori nude tono su tono si prestano benissimo ad una manicure da ufficio, voi che ne dite?
You know that I love them... here we have another flowered pattern: this time the choice fell on a delicate and elegant motif. These tone-on-tone nude flowers are perfect for an "appropiate for work" manicure, don't you agree?

I fiori sono stati realizzati con la tecnica dello stamping su base nude (My Vampire Is Buff e Do you take Lei Away? by OPI) .Vi lascio qualche altra foto sotto:

Tribute Nail Art Challenge Episode 4

Buon lunedì e buon Settembre!
Pronte per la quarta puntata della nostra Tribute Nail Art Challenge?  Oggi io e  Aly ci siamo nuovamente ispirate alla particolarissima nail art di Hang Nguyen, che trovate su IG.
Anche in questo caso la nail art è minimal e davvero elegante, l'ho adorata fin dal primo istante! Happy Monday and happy September!
Are you ready for the forth episode of our Tribute Nail Art Challenge? Today Aly and I were inspired again by Hang Nguyen's very elegant floral nail art, that you can find on  IG.

Anche in questo caso ho utilizzato sia gli acrilici che gli smalti: ho steso una base nude e con l'aiuto dello striping tape ho aggiunto sulla metà inferiore lo smalto nero. Poi con un dotter ho delineato il centro dei fiorellini (e secondo me è stato un errore... probabilmente avrei dovuto disegnare prima i petali) per poi aggiungere i petali con i colori acrilici. Una bella mano di top coat e voilà!
Spero che la mia versione vi piaccia, ecco qualche altra foto:

I started with a nude base and with the help of the striping tape I added the black colour on the lower half. Then with a dotter I have outlined the center of the flowers (and I think it was an error ... I probably should have drawn the petals before) and then I added the petals using acrylic colours. Then, a good top coat and it was done!

Are your holidays already finished? I imagine that for many of you the answer is affirmative so .... let's comfort ourselves with "cat's paws on a pink background", it is a really effective cure for the melancholy!

Giusto per rimanere in tema marino -con un tocco orientale- ecco oggi un motivo molto originale, ispirato alle stampe giapponesi, che ritrae un branco di pesci rossi in mezzo ai flutti.
Again we get inspiration from the marine theme, with just an oriental touch: today we have a very original motif, inspired by Japanese prints, which represents a bunch of goldfish that swim in the middle of the waves. Lovely, isn't it?
