How to fix a gradient gone wrong

Sabato scorso ero un pò di corsa e, avendo i minuti contati ho pensato di farmi una di quelle manicure super semplici dall'effetto assicurato: una bella gradient.

Ho scelto:

Layla rosso
Shaka Hologram silver n°06

Per la fretta però evidentemente non ho aspettato abbastanza a lungo che la base si asciugasse così, quando sono andata a 'spugnare' con lo Shaka ho creato un disastro. In pratica si staccavano pezzetti della base sotto creando dei buchi nello smalto.
Non avendo il tempo di togliere e rifare tutto, ho aggiustato riempiendo i buchi con lo smalto holo ma.... tutto l'effetto magico del gradient si perdeva se osservato con attenzione da vicino.

Non avendo alternative, ho messo il top coat e mi stavo quasi rassegnando. Poi, per fortuna il colpo di genio: usare lo smalto nero effetto Crakle sopra il tutto! In questo modo le imprecisioni sono camuffate e rimane un piacevole effetto vedo non vedo sul gradient.

Last Saturday I was a bit in a hurry and, having just some minutes I thought to make one of those super simple manicure with guaranteed result: a gradient.

I chose:

Layla red
Shaka Hologram silver n°06

Because of the hurry evidently I did not wait long enough that the red base was dry, so when I went to 'sponge' with the holo Shaka I created a disaster. In practice I peeled off pieces of the base, creating holes in the polish.

Not having enough time to remove and redo everything, I filled the holes with the holo nail polish but .... all the magical effect of the gradient was lost, if carefully observed closely.

Having no alternative, I put the top coat and I was almost resigned. Then, fortunately the stroke of genius: use black Crakle effect polish above all! In this way, the inaccuracies are camouflaged and the result is a nice see-through gradient effect.
