Oggi abbiamo a che fare un pattern geometrico e molto stiloso, nero metallizzato con un tocco di rosa.
Today we try to recreate a geometric and very stylish pattern in metallic black with just a touch of pink.

Sono rimasta indecisa fino all'ultimo momento se mantenere una versione più basilare...

Tribute Nail Art Challenge Episode 2

Buon lunedì e buon luglio!
Pronte per la seconda puntata della nostra Tribute Nail Art Challenge? Oggi io e  Aly ci siamo ispirate alla particolarissima nail art di Hang Nguyen, che trovate su IG.
Trovo le sue nail art perfette nel loro essere minimal ed eleganti, ma mantenendo sempre un tocco di eleganza e di follia, che non guasta mai!

Are you ready for the second episode of our Tribute Nail Art Challenge? Today Aly and I were inspired by Hang Nguyen's very particular nail art, that you can find on  IG.
I find her nail arts just perfect in their being minimal and elegant, but always maintaining a touch of madness, which is always good!

Per realizzare la nail art ho usato una tecnica mista: per la parte superiore mi sono servita dello striping tape per creare una linea dritta con lo smalto, mentre per le lunette inferiori ho preferito ripiegare sui colori acrilici, sigillando il tutto con un buon top coat.
Spero che la mia versione vi piaccia, ecco qualche altra foto:

To create the nail art I used a mixed technique: for the upper part I used the striping tape to create a straight line with the nail polish, while for the lower section I preferred to use the acrylic colors, sealing everything with a good top coat.

Dance Legend Chameleon Striping Tape

Bentrovate in questo lunedì sera, un pò uggioso per dire la verità.
Penso che una Striping Tape sia per definizione sempre un'ottima idea... ma quando ne diventano protagonisti due smalti multichrome come quelli che vi propongo oggi, direi che il rapporto sforzo verso effetto finale sia più che mai favorevole!

I think that a Striping Tape is by definition always a good idea ... but when two multichrome nail polishes  like those that I propose today become the protagonists, I would say that the ratio effort versus final effect is better than ever!

Come dite?... è quasi finito? Eh lo so, è stata una giornata piena, ma non volevo saltare questo appuntamento perchè ho voglia di condividere la striping tape che mi è venuto voglia di fare dopo questo post della Finishpedia. Sì perchè dopo aver interiorizzato il concetto di 'foil' mi sono resa conto di averne un sacco!

What? ... Is almost over? Oh I know, it was a busy day, but I did not want to skip this post because I want to share the striping tape that I did after this post of Finishpedia.. Yes, because after having interiorized the concept of 'foil' I realized I have a lot of them!

Come è iniziata la vostra settimana? La mia con un gran sonno... ma per fortuna qui da me splende il sole ed essendo io marcatamente meteoropatica sono certa che questo gioverà al mio umore.

La nail art è indubbiamente elementare, ma l'effetto è assicurato, soprattutto grazie al forte contrasto con la base nera.

The nail art is really simple, but the 'wow' effect is guaranteed, mainly due to strong contrast with the black base.

Oggi volevo condividere con voi questo esperimento fatto con alcune strisce adesive che ho acquistato recentemente.

Today I want to share with you this experiment made ​​with some adhesive strips that I purchased recently.

 Ingredienti / Ingredients:

• Color Club The Sweet Life
• nail stickers 

E' bastato applicare lo sticker sulla base nera ben asciutta e poi applicare lo smalto più chiaro. Che ne dite del risultato? Io la trovo una nail art molto veloce ma abbastanza d'effetto.

Just apply the stickers on completely dry black base and then apply the second nail polish. What do you think of the result? I find this a nail art very fast to be done, but quite pretty.

 Che dire? Mi è piaciuto molto replicare questa nail art, anche se già la conoscevo e l'avevo sperimentata in rosso. L'unica differenza che ho introdotto rispetto all'originale è il mantenere regolari le strisce invece di variarle per ogni unghia. 

What can I say? I really liked to replicate this nail art, even though I had already experimented it in red. The only difference that I have introduced from the original is to maintain regular strips instead of changing them for each nail.

Non sto a spendere parole in merito alla realizzazione, visto che esiste già un magnifico tutorial, ma la riuscita dipende moltissimo dallo smalto utilizzato, che ha da essere liquido al punto giusto (nè troppo nè poco). Ho voluto mettere subito alla prova uno smalto appena giunto nella mia collezione: il nero della n.6 Beauty Experience. Ecco, non potevo fare scelta migliore!... E' già diventato il mio nero ufficiale one coater.

I will not spend words on the implementation, since there is already a great tutorial, but let me say that the success depends very much on the nail polish used, it has to be liquid at the right point. I wanted to the test a nail polish just arrived in my collection: the black from n.6 Beauty Experience. Here, I could not make a best choice! ... It 's already become my official one coater black .
