[Battle of Planets] #14 Comets: Orly Halley's Comet

Oggi ultimo giorno della Battaglia Dei Pianeti... e anche ultimo giorno di lavoro prima di un pò di meritato riposo.
Lo sapete già che mi mancherete, vero?
Non vedo l'ora di lanciarmi nella prossima avventura smaltifera in compagnia di cotante compagne d'arme! Detto questo... passiamo al tema di oggi, ovvero le comete.

Ora, nella mia testa esistono due tipi di comete, ovvero:

Today last day of the Battle Of The Planets ... and also last day of work before some well deserved rest.
You already know that I will miss you, right? And I can not wait to start the next nail-polish adventure together!
That said ... we move on to today's topic, comets.
Now, in my head there are two types of comets:

Real Comet

Cartoon Comet

Per essere onesti mi era piaciuto troppo il galaxy, così ho deciso per la cometa 'realistica', anche più appropriata per il tema planetario di questa avventura!

To be honest I liked the galaxy too much, so I decided to proceed with 'realistic' Comet, also more appropriate - I think- for the theme of this planetary adventure!

Buongiorno, buongiorno e benvenuti al penultimo appuntamento della nostra Battaglia dei Pianeti!

Il tredicesimo tema scelto è Galaxy... ovviamente la prima cosa che mi è venuta in mente è:

Good morning, good morning and welcome to the penultimate round of our Battle of the Planets!
The thirteenth theme is Galaxy ... obviously the first thing that came to my mind is:

Galaxy! Galaxy!

corre il treno corre nella notte va

Non ho seguito nessun tutoria specifico, ne ho guardati un pò a caso sul web e poi mi sono lanciata... le stelline finali le ho fatte con l'acrilico.

A me è piaciuta un sacco... e lo sapete cosa significa, no? Milioni di foto! Però vi consiglio di continuare a leggere perchè non è finita qui...

I did not follow any specific tutorial, I've just looked a bit random on the web and then I tried ... the little stars are made with acrylic.
I liked it a lot ... and you know what that means, right? Millions of pics! But I suggest you keep reading because there's more ..

Sulle altre unghie ho tentato di replicare la sagoma del treno, ma onestamente ce la vedevosolo io! :-D
On the other nails I tried to reproduce the train.... but I think I'm the only one able to see it! :-D

[Battle of Planets] #12 PLUTO : Debby Color Play 222

Ultimo pianeta per la nostra battaglia!

Parliamo oggi di Plutone, ultimo pianeta del 'vecchio' sistema solare, recentemente declassato a pianeta nano.

E noi, per consolarlo di questo smacco, gli dedichiamo un bello smalto nero/grigio scuro!

Last planet for our battle!

Today we talk about Pluto, the last planet in the 'old' solar system, recently downgraded to a dwarf planet.
And, to console him for this humiliation, we dedicate him a beautiful nail polish black / dark gray!

Ecco la mia proposta: Debby Color Play 222.
Caratteristiche:

• stesura: molto buona
• coprenza: ottima, nelle foto due passat, ma una sarebbe stata sufficiente
• asciugatura: veloce, un paio di minuti
• durata: ragionevole, 3-4 giorni
• colore:grigio scuro con riflessi metallici

 E' il primo smalto della Debby che provo e debbo dire che è proprio caduto a fagiolo!

Here are the facts:

• layering: very good
• Coverage: perfect, here we have 2 coats, but one  is enough
• Drying: fast, a couple of minutes 
• Endurance: 3-4 days
•  Color: a metallic dark gray

It's my first Debby and I think it is really appropriate for this post.

... sembrava fatto apposta per abbinarci una nail art moooolto semplice, ma che mi è piaciuta.

[Battle of Planets] #11 NEPTUNE :Color Club First Looks

Buongiorno, buon venerdì e buona Battaglia dei Pianeti!
Oggi dedichiamo i nostri smalti a Nettuno, penultimo pianeta e mitologico re del mare.
E' quindi di scena il blu!
Ed io ho scelto di mostrarvi un gioiellino che acquistai al cosmoproof, la scorsa primavera (sigh... primavera):Color Club First Looks.

Good morning, Good (black)Friday and good Battle of the Planets!
Today we dedicate our nail polishes to Neptune, the penultimate planet and also mythological king of the sea.
And so blue is in scene!
I chose to show you a gem that I bought at Cosmoprof, last spring (spring sigh.... how far is it?): Color Club First Looks.

Trattasi di smaltino blu petrolio shimmer con vaghi riflessi violacei, non abbastanza evidenti per definirlo un duochrome. Ecco qui i fatti:

• stesura: buona
• coprenza: buona, nelle foto due passate
• asciugatura: veloce, un paio di minuti
• durata: ragionevole, 3-4 giorni
• colore: blu petrolio con riflessi violacei

It is a petrol blue nail polish with a little touch of purple, but not enough to define it a Duochrome. Here are the facts:

• layering: good
• Coverage: good , here we have 2 coats
• Drying: fast, a couple of minutes 
• Endurance: 3-4 days
•  Color: petrol blue with a little touch of purple

Se perdonate le cuticole sporche (dannata fretta!) e un pò screpolate dal solvente usato per rimuovere lo smalto.... vi faccio vedere la nail art fiorellosa che ho improvvisato. :-)

If you will pardon the dirty cuticles (I was a bit in a hurry) and a bit chapped by the solvent used to remove nail polish .... I'll show you the blossomed nail art that I improvised. :-)

[Battle of Planets] #10 URANUS : Deborah Shine Tech Scarabeo n.71

 

Un altro venerdì, un altra battaglia dei pianeti!

Oggi è il turno di Urano, a cui è stato associato il verde; il mio smalto è l'amatissimo Deborah Shine Tech Scarabeo n.71.

Penso che questo smalto sia davvero bellissimo.

• stesura: buon, anche grazie al pennello largo
• coprenza: media, nelle foto due passate su base verde
• asciugatura: veloce, un paio di minuti
• durata: lo sto indossando oggi, quindi.... da sperimentare!
• colore: avete presente gli scarabei (o, come si dice qui in toscana, i gazzillori?)... ecco, stesso colore!

Another Friday, another Battle of Planets! 

Today we talk about Uranus which has been associated to the green; my today nail polish is my beloved Deborah Shine Tech 71 Beetle.
I think this polish is really beautiful.

• layering: good, thanks to the wide brush
• Coverage: not bad, here we have 2coats on a green base
• Drying: fast, a couple of minutes 
• Endurance:I am wearing it right now so.... I have to discover it!
•  Color: do you remember the beetles (the insect, not the band ^_^)? Same color!

 

E.... parlando di scarabei... ecco qui cosa ho sperimentato!
And ... talking about beetles ... here's what I experimented!

Per strafare ho voluto aggiungere un goccino di Ludurana Admiravel...
To exaggerate I wanted to add a little drop of Ludurana Admiravel ...

... ed ecco il risultato!

[Battle of Planets] #9 SATURN: Kiko 620 Lavanda + Kiko Magnetic 704

 

Nuovo Venerdì, nuova battaglia dei pianeti! Oggi è il turno di Saturno (fa anche rima -_-) e non solo trattasi del mio pianeta preferito (tutti hanno un pianeta preferito, giusto?) ma vi è stato associato anche il mio colore preferito, ovvero il viola!

Per festeggiare cotanta fortuna ho pensato di mettere in gioco ben due smalti, che qui non si bada a spese, gente.

Il primo è il fantastico Kiko 620 Lavanda, che sembra nato apposta per lo stamping! Ora, il colore è bellissimo e stampa da dio quindi non mi voglio mettere a spaccare il capello in quattro, ma.... Lavanda?...Signori che date i nomi agli smalti Kiko, non sarà l'ora di farsi dare una controllatina alla vista?

Vi lascio ai milioni di foto (la base è Orly Plum Noir), ma non scappate, che ho da farvi vedere il secondo smalto...

A new Friday a new Battle of the Planets! Today is the turn of Saturn ( rhyme! -_-), that is my favorite planet (everyone has a favorite planet, right?). It has also been associated with my favorite color, purple!
To celebrate such great luck I thought I'd bring into play two nail polishes, that no expense is spared here, folks.

The first is the fantastic Kiko 620 Lavanda, who seems born to stamping! Now, the color is beautiful and prints fine so I do not want to be too fussy, but .... Lavender? ... Kiko-People-who-give-names to the cosmetics, isn't arrived the time to do an eye check?

I leave you to the millions of pics (the base is Orly Plum Noir), but do not run away, I have to show you the second nail polish ...

Questo sì che è un vero viola melanzana. Eccolo immortalato sulla mia scrivania con il suo bel magnete!

Now that's a real purple. Here he is immortalized on my desk with its beautiful magnet!

Va detto che l'esperienza con il magnete Kiko è stata di gran lunga migliore di quella con il magnete Essence. Sarà una coincidenza? Mha!
Per adesso lasciamo aperto il dubbio e vi lascio alle foto, ma non scappate, perchè...

It must be said that the experience with the Kiko magnet was much better than the one with the Essence magnet . It will be a coincidence? Mha!
