Il pattern di oggi è molto particolare... me ne sono innamorata appena l'ho visto.
The pattern of today is very peculiar ... I fell in love with itv as I saw it.

Sono partita da una base blu scura per andare poi a dipingere le foglie con gli acrilici ed aggiungere poi i fiori con l'ausilio del dotter.
Starting from a blue base I painted the green trees with acrylic colors; then, I added the flowers using a dotter.

[Finishpedia] episode 12: Suède

Buon venerdì e bentornate alla Finishpedia!
Il finish di oggi è il Suède. Vediamo subito la definizione (dal sito di Lacquerized):

Just like mattes, suedes are completely matte. Suedes contain shimmer though, so that's what sets them apart from regular mattes.

Spero proprio di averci azzeccato stavolta... io ne sono sicura al cento per cento, ma è proprio in questi casi che di solito prendo i granchi peggiori...
Lo smalto che ho scelto è Bling Bling di Sephora, un bell'argento opaco. L'ho preso (anzi ad onor del vero mi è stato regalato) per partecipare ad un concorso diverso tempo fa. Me lo aspettavo lucido, ma alla fine il suo finish particolare mi è piaciuto e secondo me è proprio azzeccato per questo episodio. Sbaglio?

I hope I made the right choice this time ... I am sure of one hundred percent, but it is in these cases that I usually do the worst errors ...
The nail polish that I chose is Bling Bling by Sephora, a nice matte silver. I have used it to participate in a contest some time ago. I expected it shiny, but in the end I liked its finish and I think it is appropriate for this episode. Am I wrong?

Confesso di aver fatto queste foto la sera tardi, così mi sono trovata ad improvvisare una manicure a contrasto veloce... il contrasto è giocato sia sui colori che sui finisch molto diversi degli smalti (il rosa è il numero 30 delle 6beauty).
I didi this mani very late in the evening so the nail art I created is quick and easy. I hope you like the contrast between colors and finishes (the pink one is #30 by 6beauty).

Ragazze, vi prego di perdonare la mia brevità, ma è il quarto post questa settimana e siamo solo a mercoledì!
Ovviamente però non avevo nessuna intenzione di tralasciare il PW, per cui eccomi qui con il pattern di oggi.
Girls, please forgive my concision, but this is the fourth post this week and it's only Wednesday!
Obviously, however, I had no intention of neglecting the PW, so here I am with the today pattern.

 La base è Kiko 345, i ramoscelli sono fatti in acrilico e i fiori sono 6beauty 30 e 49.
I painted on Kiko 345 some twigs with acrylic colors, adding some dots with 6beauty 30 and 49.

 Che ne dite? Vi piace il risultato?

Il pattern di oggi mi ricorda quei pallini di zucchero che si mettono sulle torte... date un'occhiata sotto e ditemi un pò se mi sbaglio!

Dopo aver scelto uno smalto viola chiaro (6beauty #29) mi sono armata di acrilici ed ho provato a riprodurre le macchie di colore tipiche di questo fiore.

After choosing a light purple nail polish (6beauty # 29) I armed myself with acrylics and tried to reproduce the color spots typical of this flower.

Bene, ma adesso non indugiate oltre, che sono curiosa di sbirciare il blog delle altre ragazze!

Il pattern di oggi è influenzato dall'imminenza di San Valentino... a cose normali sarei propensa ad ignorare questa ricorrenza dal retrogusto prevalentemente commerciale, ma il motivo in questione mi è sembrato carino e niente affatto sdolicinato, con base azzurra e quell'unico cuoricino purpureo a fare capolino.
The pattern of today is influenced by the imminence of St. Valentine ... usually I would be inclined to ignore this event because I consider it an event mostly commercial, but I thought that the pattern of today it was cute and not mushy at all , with blue base and the one little purple heart that peeps out.

Come è iniziata la vostra settimana? La mia per adesso è stata abbastanza intensa visto che mi trovo solo adesso ad avere cinque minuti per postare!

How did your week started? Mine for now has been pretty intense...I am only now I found five minutes to write a post!

Il titolo di questo post è piuttosto autoesplicativo: qualche tempo fa ho visto questa nail art di Wondrously Polished e me ne sono innamorata... così ho deciso di riprodurla, variando solo i colori.

The title of this post is pretty self-explanatory: some time ago I saw this nail art by wondrously Polished and I fell in love ... so I decided to reproduce it, changing only the colors.

A frost is a very fine shimmery polish with obvious bruststrokes. These kind of finishes are losing popularity and mostly seen in older polishes.

Anche stavolta ammetto che brancolavo... la mia idea di frost era una cosa 'effetto neve' ... ho detto tutto. Meno male che ho le mie smaltoamiche! Sì perchè, dopo aver sottoposto al loro giudizio un miliardilione di smalti alla fine me ne hanno approvati uno e mezzo...

Again I admit that I did not know how to handle it ... my idea of frost was something like 'snow effect' ... I said it all. Thank goodness that I have my nail-polish-friends! Yes, because, after submitting to their judgment something like a billion of nail polishes at the end I had one and a half approved:

Questa manicure bicolore mi ha fatto giusto pensare a due smalti perfetti per lo stamping:

Quindi, non paga dell'estrosità di questa manicure bicolore, ci ho aggiunto abbondanti fiori a contrasto. Proprio il festival della sobrietà, eh?

This two-color manicure made me think about two nail polishes perfect for stamping:

So, not satisfied with the originality of this two-color manicures, I added abundant flowers in contrasting. Precisely the festival of sobriety, don't you agree?
