BirthStone Challenge #9 September - SAPPHIRE

Buongiorno, e bentornati alla Birthstone Challenge, l'appuntamento mensile con le pietre preziose e semi-preziose.
La pietra dedicata al mese di settembre è lo Zaffiro e scartabellando immagini sul web in cerca di ispirazioni sono stata folgorata da una bellissima immagine. Trattasi nientepopodimeno che dello 'Star of Bombay ', magnifica pietra da ben 182 carati.

Il pattern di oggi, citando una celebre cantante senese, è bello e impossibile. E in effetti questa è esattamente una delle cose che mi piacciono di questa sfida settimanale: è un modo per cercare di superare i propri limiti e cimentarsi con nail art che d'istinto non faremmo mai, giudicandole troppo difficili.

The pattern for today is nice but impossible. And in fact, this is exactly one of the things I like about this weekly challenge: it is a way to try to overcome our own limits and experiment with nail art that instinctively we would never do, judging them too complicated.

Ecco qui la mia versione: ho fatto del mio meglio, ma la macro non perdona. Dopo aver visto le foto mi sono detta: qui urge trovare dei colori più adatti alla micropittura! Avete dei consigli?

Come è iniziata la vostra settimana? La mia con un gran sonno... ma per fortuna qui da me splende il sole ed essendo io marcatamente meteoropatica sono certa che questo gioverà al mio umore.

E sempre per tirarci su di morale, vorrei condividere con voi questo esperimento che ho realizzato con i due Barry M che ho acquistato in Scozia:

La nail art è indubbiamente elementare, ma l'effetto è assicurato, soprattutto grazie al forte contrasto con la base nera.
